Sometime early in July I bought a copy of Chrono Cross from a comic/video game store near my College and I've been playing it since school ended. I've beaten the game once already, now I'm playing it a second time to grab all the characters possible (though I'll need a third play through it seems to get everyone). Lots of fun character designs but man the story could use a lot of help in being clearer. That's not even bringing up just how depressing the fates of all the Chrono Trigger playable characters are here...

I'm hoping to get a few of them drawn at whatever con I attend next.

Every time I'm ready to start saving my paychecks like a good little boy there pops up something REALLY nice on eBay. GRAH.

Whoo. Been attending NYCC since Friday. Already got a bunch of neat sketches. Once it ends I'll be uploading them soon after to post on my Comicartfans page.

Best time of the year.

I don't think anything's going to happen either way but living in NY, the hurricane's supposed to pass through us sometime tomorrow or so. I'm working as usual at my job over the weekend at the supermarket so this'll be a hellish weekend of work. I can already feel the aches coming. At worst we might lose power for a day, if that, so I bought some candles and filled a few empty milk cartons with water.

Well I finished my last class for my BA's, passed it etc... last Wednesday (13th).

Due to this sheer sense of WHEEEEEE I've gone a bit commission crazy in these last few days both on and off DA. Money, whooooooo.

Donated blood on Monday which was nice, automated red cell so I gave I believe it's two pints in one sitting. Will be able to donate again come November 7.

As for the rest preparing to register for my Masters in school counseling by Monday and classes begin the end of August.

Just hope that when I complete it (3 years kiddies!) that I'll be actually able to get a job. The educational system seems to be going down the crapper more and more, which really scares me.

Also perhaps because I'm already a fan of fire (see account name after all) I'm rather neutral about this whole high degree weather.

Also on Friday I'm preparing to go to the gym for a month this summer and really work out but I can tell it'll be a struggle, mostly cause I'm lazy. Also the least motivating thing that can be said to me is to go  to the gym. I hate listening to what others tell me, makes me want to do the opposite.

So ummm that. *waves*
